Cavaliers Care 2009
April 11, 2009 - This spring the UVaClub of Austin again organized a volunteer event that was part of the wider UVa Cavaliers Care initiative.  We volunteered our time at the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas and sorted food.  See pictures of the project here.

Prospective Student Meeting
November 12th, 2008 - A dean from the UVa admissions office advised high school students and their parents about the admissions process and a panel composed of former UVa students answered questions and shared stories about their experiences at UVa. 

Student Send-off Party
July 30, 2008 - The UVaClub of Austin invited students, parents, local alumni and club members to take part in a student send off reception.

UVaClubs of Austin and San Antonio jointly host President John T. Casteen III
October 29, 2007 - The UVaClub of Austin along with the UVaClub of San Antonio co-hosted President John T. Casteen at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens.  President Casteen greeted alumni and prospective students and then addressed the state of the University.

Annual Club Dinner featuring Professor Peter Brunjes
May 23, 2007 - The UVaClub of Austin hosted Professor Peter Brunjes of the University at our annual dinner.  Professor Brunjes, a Professor of Psychology and Associate Dean for the Sciences, spoke about his current research as well as the state of the University. See pictures of the event here.
